I wonder if this sends out e-mails when somebody posts a new topic.

Unfortunately not. I might visit more often if it did.
For whatever reason I find myself checking back here once every few months. God I miss you guys.
I probably shouldn't be hijacking the thread like this but people post here so infrequently that it probably doesn't matter. Warning: the following may be depressing/pathetic. It's also going to get quite a bit TL;DR.
EDIT: Post-TAC life story removed. Jesus Christ I'm pathetic. All that just made me sound like I just want people to feel sorry for me, which I don't. If anyone wants to know how I'm doing these days, they'll ask.
To tell the truth I was too afraid to contact the old Anime Carnival friends I had directly that are actually on the members list because they've probably all moved on and I'm afraid they're too busy to get back in touch with me. Now that it's been several years since I discovered TAC Reunion, that's practically guaranteed. At this point if they wanted to contact me, they would.
The one TAC member I desperately want to get in contact with is unfortunately nowhere to be found. One one day several years ago Miriam just disappeared off the face of the net as soon as some major drama happened between him and other people. He was the only one I properly stayed in touch with post-TAC up to that point. I'd say we were best friends, even.

Yea, too bad no emails huh.
Maybe we should take this to a forum that notifies people? I'm open for suggestions, or even social networks.
I recall your name from back in the day Gourry, but I don't remember you much. Sorry.

I recall your name from back in the day Gourry, but I don't remember you much. Sorry. Yeah, I don't think we really talked all that much. We each had our own set of friends. And I actually checked the board while I was in a GOOD mood. Imagine that! Long story short I finally joined another online community post TAC and the MMORPG binge that followed. I finally have people to talk to and make friends with again. It's a good feeling. I've never been good at being social IRL. I only have like two friends offline. :/ I have a new job now as a QA tester for a small company. It's not much, and it's not what I went to college for, but it's something. And it's far better than the movie theater I was working at previously. The only problem is I find it much harder to socialize there than at the theater. I made my last post in a bout of massive social withdrawl, and it kinda shows. But as I stated in the previous paragraph, things are better now.

Well, glad to hear things are better for you.
I work for a software company as well (although a large one), and I find I'm not too social with the people from work outside of work & work-related activities. I suppose I can second that.
You should go to conventions. What better way to make understanding friends than immerse yourself in a pool of socially awkward folk =)

Wasn't sure where to post this and this is the most alive thread, so here goes. Checked back here on a nostalgia kick last night and found solidness's contact info. Turns out we are coworkers (though he transferred to a different office before I started) and were in college together. Go figure.
I'd love to find more peoples alive out there!
